Real Estate Education

- Mar 15, 2013      Archive

The purpose of these real estate classes, the content of which is under the direct control of your Real Estate Commission, is twofold. The first consideration is to teach you the language of real estate. Every business and occupation has a jargon- ordinary words that convey ideas and meanings unique to the profession. Your first great task is to learn this language. (How can you answer a question unless you know what you are being asked?)

Any business that holds and deals with other peoplesÂ’ money is going to be highly regulated. The business of real estate is no exception.

Your Real Estate Commission has a mandate from your legislature to protect the general public by limiting the issuance of real estate licenses to persons who can demonstrate an understanding of both state and federal laws controlling the real estate industry, and whose backgrounds promise a commitment to be ethically bound to lawful behavior.

What does this mean to you?

The laws are specific, but complex, and hardly real like a novel. You must not only hold your attention to factual, dry material, but must also place these facts into your memory. You have to become a dedicated learner.

The rewards of a successful career in real estate can be astounding. DonÂ’t lose sight of your goal. You CAN meet the challenge!
